Cycle Against Suicide: Pictures Coming soon

Cyclists, crew and bloggers,

Thank you for you’re patience and the encouraging complements you’ve given me, the pictures will be up-loaded on the 11th of June. They’ve taken a little longer then expected. But that’s because, they deserved it. They look great I’m happy with them.  I tuck a few days away to just forget about them.. On Tuesday I had a second look through them to make sure I was happy.. Double checking never hurts? right? I’m glad I did so Finishing touches are being applied I’ll be in touch with CAS’S FaceBook and Twitter to let you all know and I’ll be tweeting how its going through out the day 🙂

So I selected a couple of images in B&W and color for you guys below…  So nearly there..

Hope your enjoying the amazing weather.

Kim

Ps a few pics below.

Cycle Against Sucide

Cyclists, readers and crew,

Back down earth or maybe Waterford with nothing but dread.  Cas was over and it was a little emotional, I missed it like I guess you miss a friend when they go off to another country for an adventure.

But it hasn’t been so bad, there’s been lots of work to do mainly editing, about which I’ve had to be somewhat  ruthless. I hope you understand that to process 10,000 photographs would normally take, depending on how much attention a picture needed a year. Some may ask why I wasn’t shooting in jpeg?  It’s to o restrictive,  jepgs don’t take to manipulation very well and I’m not a fan of the file compression that happens with color within the picture, I don’t like that.  Retaining a good standard of how they should look  is one of my main priorities and making sure pictures are flattering and not misinterpreting. So please bear with me.

On Sunday, we all heard the very sad news that Donal Walsh had passed away,  he’s left a legacy of a concise argument as to why suicide is never an option. He was a talented young man, who will be for ever be remembered for fighting two causes at once. I would take the opportunity to offer my condolences to his Mother, Father and Friends.

So as usual keep an eye out on Cycle Against Suicides Facebooks page or their twitter or my twitter

Take care and stay safe.

Thanks for your penitence

Kim

Cycle Against Sucide

Hi bloggers, cyclists and crew,

After what could be described as an epic two weeks of highs – great fun, and lows – a broken camera, ending with over 10,000 RAW images, you’re probably wondering what’s going to happen next. So am I 🙂

My first plan is to edit the photographs into those that can be kept and those not worth keeping.

I’ve been chatting with CAS and addressing the situation is no easy task and will take time. I realize that everyone wants to see the pictures of themselves and others,  so I will keep you up to-dated, and get the pictures done as quickly as humanly possible.

I felt that addressing your worries on my own personal blog would be much better than Twitter – it just didn’t seem to give me the communication level I wanted. I believe that this is the clearest way to keep every one informed of what’s happening. Once all the pics are processed and I’ve found an effective way for pictures to be shown, I will let you all know.

Thanks

Kim
